The TD Bank Group Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) Department is responsible for Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing (AML/ATF) regulatory compliance and prudential risk management across the TD footprint. We act as proactive and trusted advisors to TD Business Lines, while supporting a consistent, adaptable, and effective culture across the organization, ensuring money laundering and terrorist financing risks are appropriately identified and mitigated. We direct the design, content, and enterprise-wide implementation of TD’s AML Program, which also includes ensuring that everyone both understands and complies with economic sanctions and anti-bribery/anti-corruption regulations. Job Description Summary:


Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Road to Strong (RTS) Team is the team that develops, articulates and documents the Enterprise Road to Strong (RTS) Program strategy. The RTS team develops, articulates and documents the strategy to implement the Target Operating Model (TOM). The RTS team leads the Enterprise RTS Program for Canada and TDS; Accountable for the end-to-end product roadmap.
 

Accountable for Chapter 5 – Investigation deliverables, the Financial Crime Risk Specialist, Investigations will be responsible for the following:

Supporting a high performing team on delivery of AML compliance programs and culture.

Partnering with relevant SME's and external consultants to implement the recommended action plans within appropriate timelines.

Supporting the Senior Manager in Chapter 5 on the execution of key deliverables within Chapter 5 of Enterprise RTS Program with a focus on enhancement of the High Risk Customer Program and additional related workstreams, including but not limited to STR Procedures and Processes, STR Data Management, Insider Risk, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), and/or Sanctions risks.

CUSTOMER

Lead development of team procedures and governance processes and advise FCRM stakeholders and teams of changes and enhancements to enterprise FCRM programs and requirements and where they may impact in the organization.Work with FCRM partners and other related groups (such as Compliance, Legal and Risk etc.) to support creation of documentation and reports required by external regulatory bodies and TD internal groupsConduct research, assess FCRM risks and controls, and otherwise contribute to a specialized team of FCRM compliance professionals, interacting with key stakeholdersProvide governance oversight through management of the policy and training exemption governance and reporting processes to the FCRM Senior Executive Team (and related FCRM Sub-Committees)Prepare summaries, presentations, briefing notes, and any other required documentation to effectively report on the status of the FCRM programRepresent FCRM as a specialist on internal or external committees as well as on enterprise-wide Regulatory Change Management initiatives, as requiredDeliver relevant subject matter expertise and FCRM advice to business / FCRM partnersInteract with control functions within the organizationDevelop and deliver training programs for applicable employees across the BankConduct meaningful research, analysis, and assessment of FCRM program activities at the functional level using results to draw conclusions, make recommendations, assess the effectiveness of enterprise FCRM programsPrepare research, analysis, update tools and/or support training activities specific to risk assessmentLead development of processes, procedures and guidance relevant to own specific FCRM function of expertise
