Title Financial Data Analyst Posting Number S01324JP Department Treasurers Office Job Summary This position will support the dynamic data elements used in the development and maintenance of the College’s various financial planning tools. Working directly with the VP Finance and Administration and Assistant Treasurer this position will be responsible for managing the budget data contained in Workday Financial Management, Adaptive Planning, and other applications. Analyzing, summarizing, and communicating data elements and findings to various stakeholders will be a key component of this position.

Essential Functions:
Supporting a robust financial planning process, this position will be responsible for maintaining the College’s detailed budget data elements contained in Workday Financial Management, Adaptive Planning, and other applications. Developing and supporting data solutions to meet users’ needs will be critical.


Analytical budget functions will include analyzing data, developing insights, and communicating results. This position will support and contribute to budget-to-actual variance analysis, scenario analysis, budget forecasting, year-to-year budget changes, and other ad hoc analyses as needed.
Responsible for publishing various budget data points to Workday Financial Management. This work will include the need to effectively work with and communicate with Treasurer’s Office staff and the Controller’s Office staff.
Develops analytical tools and data approaches, including visualizations for leadership.
Attends budget meetings and functions with the College’s budget managers group.


Education/Skills Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s preferred.


Certifications such as CPA or CFA are a preferred qualification.
Must have prior experience with Workday Finance, Workday Adaptive Planning or similar financial software.

Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents 4-7 years experience as a financial data analyst required; 7-10 years preferred.

Standard Work Days and Hours This is a full-time, exempt position working 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, (1.00 FTE).
Standard work hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm. Regular hours may vary due to needs of the department or College.

Benefits and Pay:
The hiring range for this position is expected to be: $90,000 – $100,000.
