Description We are in search of a Financial Data Analyst to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. You will be tasked with interpreting financial data, generating insightful reports, and aiding in data-driven decision making. This role is in the industry and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Analyzing financial data gathered from various sources. • Creating and improving data analysis procedures. • Generating reports on financial information and presenting findings to leadership. • Conducting industry research and analysis to identify and predict trends. • Identifying trends in financial performance and risk, and suggesting strategies to mitigate those risks. • Collaborating with IT teams to enhance data collection and analysis procedures. • Complying with privacy and data protection laws in all data collection, handling, and storage practices. • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and the management of expenses. Requirements • Proven experience in Data Reporting and Data Analysis • In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of ASC 606 • Proficiency in using NetSuite for financial data management • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and vlookups • Ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data • Excellent communication skills to present findings and insights effectively • Strong problem-solving skills to address data discrepancies and anomalies • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred • Familiarity with other financial data analysis tools will be an added advantage Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
