Kwik Trip’s Accounting & Finance Department is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to be Kwik Trip’s Financial Data Analytics Manager. In this role the individual will contribute to Kwik Trip’s success by guiding data driven business decisions through leadership and analytics utilizing Kwik Trip’s test and learn system. The individual will be responsible for designing and recommending appropriate analytic approaches to solve key business problems with business partners at all levels.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Champion Kwik Trip’s data-driven cultureWork closely with the business to advocate for the use of insights that will direct efforts towards initiatives with the highest impact for the company Design and build self-service dashboards Analyze data to proactively identify trends, behaviors, and opportunities Develop test plansCommunicate data findings through story telling across all levels of the organizationLead discussions with business partners to address questions and offer recommendations Build and lead a high performing data analytics teamHelp determine priority areas throughout the organization

 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or related field 5 plus years of experience in data analytics Project management experience Advanced knowledge of data visualization techniques Experience managing end-to-end data analytics projectsMinimum of 1 year of team leadership experience is preferred Proven record of managing projects from inception to deploymentDemonstrated experience with analytical methods, business process analysis, and analytics enablement High proficiency in developing key metrics for driving and maintaing healthy business performanceWorking knowledge of data systems design and data technologies Knowledge of statistics and scripting (SQL, Python or R)Business experience with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI) Retail, customer loyalty, marketing or eCommerce experience is preferred Strong problem-solving skills Ability to handle and maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive informationExperience with Microsoft Office Suite Experience with Mastercard BA Platform is preferred Strong communication and leadership skills

 

 

Work Schedule:  Generally, Monday through Friday, daytime hours. Weekends and evening as necessary
