Kforce is immediately seeking a Financial Forecasting Analyst in support of a major telecommunications and media client in Stamford, CT. Summary: This role will be heavily involved in budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc reporting, working with large datasets in Excel to support financial planning and analysis (FP&A) efforts. While SQL and other data tools are present in the environment, this role primarily focuses on strategic forecasting and budgeting rather than accounting functions. Responsibilities: * Analyze and manage forecasting data, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives * Prepare and present ad hoc financial reports based on business needs * Work extensively in Excel to handle large datasets, including entering and analyzing forecast data * Participate in financial planning and strategic forecasting, providing insights to leadership * Assist with scheduling, coordinating meetings, and bridging gaps between finance and other teams * Work under tight deadlines, ensuring timely and accurate reporting during key forecasting periods
