FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST
Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Corporate Business & Analysis Group, Program & Business Analysis Dept, Ranges & Targets Business Analysis Div of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Responsibilities Yow will serve as the back up to support the division BFM. You will provide timely financial analysis and guidance as needed to the IPTs leadership teams, report on any deviations, and formulate proposed solutions to return to annual plan of execution. You will track financial execution on a weekly basis and discusses with IPT Lead and other support staff. You will prepare and provide presentation of reports, charts and graphs for high-level presentations and briefings. You will be responsible for coordinating and providing guidance on A-11 Budget development and execution as well as addressing required data calls. You will provide financial advice and recommendations on the IPT budgets and advises on budget strategy and execution to meet funding benchmarks and milestones. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications (DA-04): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (DA-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following duties: 1) Independently extracting data from automated systems and formatting into reports; 2) Analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating funding plans; 3) Tracking funding, validating expenses, reviewing transactions in accounting system, and reconciling accounts; 4) Preparing and presenting briefs to leadership. (DA-03): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (DA-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Utilizing Excel skills to extract data from automated systems and format into reports; 2) Assisting with financial analysis and interpretation and evaluation of funding plans; 3) Assisting in tracking funding, validating expenses, reviewing transactions in accounting system, and reconciling accounts; 4) Assisting in making recommendations for financial data corrections.
