Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Accounting/Billing Branch (N00FM4A), Financial Management Office-Comptroller (N00FM) of NCTAMSLANT NORVA. This position is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1599f. ***Final salary is subject to change pending final pay approval.*** Responsibilities You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will implement internal controls and provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization’s programs and activities. You will analyze, execute and track reimbursable authority. You will analyze and recommend cost and benefits of alternative methods of budget execution. You will provide guidance and instruction to program financial technicians and junior analysts. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: -Experience formulating budgets and estimates. -Experience validating and monitoring vendor invoice processing. -Experience utilizing and extracting data from administrative and financial management systems such as Command Financial Management System, Standard Accounting and Budget Reporting System, and Enterprise Resource Planning. -Experience using data analytical tools such as Advana, Jupiter, Tableau or similar systems.
