Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Financial Management Community of CNSSC MECHANICSBURG NWCF MHA. Responsibilities You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will perform functions such as: formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs and activities, review and evaluate budget requests; control, and reporting obligations and expenditures. You will develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies and practices. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets; provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organizations programs and activities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized Financial Management Specialist experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent demonstrating an extensive knowledge and skill apply principles, concepts, policies and practices to preform assignments concerning financial management and budget operations. Experience also demonstrates using financial automated systems such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) to extract, interpret, and analyze financial reports and statistical data. Specific work experience may demonstrate the following duties: 1) Preparing budget exhibits based on the requirements for Navy Working Capital Funds (NWCF); 2) Monitoring budget execution to ensure compliance within the DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR) and presenting performance metrics to senior leadership; 3) Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer requirements align with program budget plans; and 4) Developing determining, and interpreting policies and practices to resolve operational challenges.
