Job Title: Financial Management Specialist Location: Fairfax, VA Clearance: Secret Certifications: None required Job Summary: We are seeking a Financial Management Specialist to provide financial and cost analysis support for acquisition programs. The ideal candidate will conduct cost estimating, life-cycle costing, and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making. This role involves assisting in capital planning, logistics support analysis, and major acquisition programs. The candidate will also develop budget submissions, monitor expenditures, and oversee the execution of financial plans. Key Responsibilities: + Provide support for technical analyses, cost estimation, and financial planning. + Conduct life-cycle costing and cost-benefit analyses for acquisition programs. + Assist in the development and analysis of logistics support and IT alternatives. + Support business process reengineering studies by developing cost models. + Perform "should-cost" analyses and trade studies for major system development and procurement. + Prepare acquisition milestone program documentation to support milestone decisions. + Develop and submit budget reports for major acquisition programs. + Monitor program funding and expenditures to ensure fiscal responsibility. + Manage assigned task order projects and oversee execution in the acquisition area. + Organize, direct, and supervise project personnel in financial and budgeting activities. Required Qualifications: + Experience: Minimum of 2 years in financial management, budget analysis, or financial planning. + Education: An Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, or Master’s degree will be considered as equivalent experience. + Clearance Requirement: Secret clearance Preferred Qualifications: + Strong analytical, financial modeling, and budgeting skills. + Experience with government acquisition programs and financial reporting. + Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.
