Responsibilities Performs all budgetary processes and administrative duties in support of an office mission. Tracks funding for current and out years. Analyzes and reconciles the availability and proprietary use of funds on various financial documents. Reviews documents for validity budget expenditure limitations, completeness and correctness of data. Reconciles and analyzes obligation data in accordance guidance. Makes recommendations as required. Reviews financial data and prepares travel orders, certifying purpose and funding for final approval. Prepares detailed schedules of obligation and expenditure requirements for office operating budgets. Coordinates budget requirements with supervisor and other officials. Verifies budgetary reports for accuracy and takes appropriate action to correct inaccurate data. Assists in the preparation of annual budget submission and requirements. Attends meeting and provides justifications as required. Provides current information on status of funds, costs and progress of work, and availability of funds in different budget accounts as requested. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Standard Qualifications: Demonstrated work experience that included practical knowledge of operating budgets and fund control principles, practices and applicable regulatory procedures. Work experience must have equivalent in complexity, difficulty and responsibility to the next lower pay grade level. Highly Qualified: Possess one (1) year of performing budgetary processes in support of an office mission. Possess at least one (1) year of experience analyzing and reconciling the availability and proprietary use of funds on various financial documents. Possess at least one (1) year of experience providing information on status of funds and availability of funds in budget accounts. Experience MUST be reflected on your Resume at the time of application to be considered for Standard and/or Highly Qualified for this position. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives may be paid. Recruitment/Relocation incentive or bonus in the amount of $5,000 may be authorized if deemed by the best interests of the organization. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
