Role Purpose:
The successful candidate will play a critical role in the timely aggregation and consolidation of financial information for the group and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information. They will also provide in-depth analysis and produce insightful information for management's use.
Are you someone who can:
Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation processes, ensuring all financial data is timeously aggregated, accurately compiled and reported.Have In-depth involvement in the annual budget and monthly forecasting process including the consolidation and analysis thereof.Pro-actively engage with Franchise accountants prior to the submission deadline to obtain relevant information regarding the current month's transactions, deal with complex transactions, queries, issues and errors.Develop and maintain consolidation and reporting procedures to streamline processes and improve accuracy.Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS and group policies.Prepare the results booklet for interim and year-end.Analyse financial results, identify trends, and provide insightful commentary to senior management.Coordinate with various departments and subsidiaries to gather financial information and ensure consistency in reporting.Assist in the preparation/review of management reports, board presentations, and other ad hoc financial analyses.Ensure compliance with internal controls related to financial reporting and to update the group finance internal control documents.Be the records management custodian for the group reporting team ensuring compliance to group policies.Support the external audit process, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.You will be an ideal candidate if you:
CA(SA) or equivalentHave 1 - 3 Years working experienceHave prior banking experience / Financial Services Audit preferable.Have experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.Have advanced experience in the use of Microsoft Excel and Pivots.You will have access to:
