Position Summary

As the Financial Manager - Physician Compensation, you will lead a team of analysts responsible for financial reviews and analyzes related to productivity and compensation for physicians employed by MGC. In this pivotal role, you will:

Oversee the creation of detailed financial reports and analyzes using tools such as Excel, Word, PowerBI, and Strata. Provide critical data analysis to support strategic initiatives, budget development, and overall financial decision-making. Independently solve complex problems while maximizing the use of advanced financial tools and methodologies. Collaborate with managers and physicians to review revenue and expenditures associated with physician practices. Validate financial statements and ensure the integrity of all financial reporting. Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support the broader finance team and organizational goals.

With full training, this position offers the flexibility to work remotely 70-80% of the time, providing a balance of professional growth and work-life integration.

Minimum Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Experience

5+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience. 2+ years in a healthcare setting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including complex formulas and database functions.

License/Certifications

Must demonstrate high proficiency in Excel and a solid understanding of database programs.

Preferred Qualifications

Education

Master’s degree in a business-related field.

Experience

5+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience. 5+ years in a healthcare setting. 5+ years of management experience.
