If you have a background in HVAC, construction, or contracting industries and are looking for the next step in your career, we want to hear from you. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead and manage all financial operations, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, and general ledger management. + Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial decision-making. + Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including tax filings, and maintain financial integrity. + Partner with senior leadership to develop financial strategies that drive growth, improve profitability, and increase operational efficiency. + Perform job cost analysis and provide actionable insights to enhance project profitability. + Design, implement, and maintain internal controls to protect company assets and ensure financial accuracy. + Cultivate and manage relationships with key external partners, such as banks, auditors, and financial consultants. + Supervise the use of ERP or accounting software systems to streamline operations, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency. + Support financial planning and forecasting efforts, aligning with company expansion and long-term strategic goals. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred). + **REQUIRED:** At least 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial leadership role, with specific experience in the HVAC, construction, or contracting industries. + **REQUIRED:** Expertise in job costing, budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting. + **REQUIRED:** Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a high attention to detail. + Ability to think strategically and contribute to high-level decision-making processes. + Willingness to travel occasionally to Martha’s Vineyard and the Kingston, MA areas, as needed. **Why Join Us?** This is a unique opportunity to join a growing, stable HVAC company that values your expertise and offers a pathway for professional development.
