Position Purpose:
As a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at Pittsburgh Mercy, you'll play a pivotal role in financial planning and management, ensuring fiscal responsibility and efficiency. Your expertise will drive strategic decision-making processes, facilitating the organization's ability to deliver essential services effectively. This role also includes the supervision of one or more staff members.
What You Will Do:
Develop and oversee the organization's quarterly rolling forecasts, working closely with department heads to align financial resources with strategic goals.Implement robust financial forecasting models to identify potential risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial performance metrics to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, highlighting key financial metrics and business insights.Partner with internal customers, acting as a trusted advisor to provide financial guidance, support budgetary planning, and improve financial performance.Monitor budgetary performance, analyzing variances and trends to recommend corrective actions and optimize resource allocation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline forecasting processes and enhance financial reporting capabilities.Supervise one or more staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure team effectiveness and professional growth.Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory changes, advising on compliance matters and implementing necessary adjustments to financial policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall financial health and strategic goals of the organization.Minimum Qualifications:
A master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field with at least 1 year of relevant work experienceOR a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant work experienceOR an associate degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field with at least 4 years of relevant work experience.Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services is preferred.Act 33/34/73 Clearances and pre-employment drug screenPosition Highlights and Benefits:
