As we continue to scale, we are seeking a skilled Manager of FP& A to join our team. This key contributor will play a critical role in our organization, ensuring informed financial decision-making and effective business planning. Position Overview: The Manager of FP& A will be responsible for leading financial analyses, developing robust forecasts, and supporting strategic initiatives across the organization. This highly analytical role requires expertise in financial modeling and the ability to transform complex financial data into actionable insights. Prior leadership experience is not required but will be considered an asset. Candidates with experience in the energy sector will also be given preference. Key Responsibilities: + Collaborate with leadership and department heads to produce accurate budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with corporate objectives. + Design, build, and maintain detailed financial models to support strategic decision-making, business evaluations, and long-term planning. + Analyze financial and operational performance, identify trends, and make recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency. + Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual FP& A reports to communicate financial results and projections to leadership. + Partner with cross-functional teams to create business cases for new projects or initiatives, conducting cost-benefit analysis and ROI assessments. + Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and help standardize reporting across departments. + Support variance analyses by comparing actual results against plans and identifying key drivers. + Assist with scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to evaluate potential risks and opportunities. + Continuously improve the FP& A processes and tools for efficiency, automation, and scalability. + Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices, and apply knowledge to the organization when relevant. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required). + A minimum of 3 years of FP& A experience (required). + Experience in financial modeling + Strong proficiency in Excel and financial planning software, with skills in data visualization tools considered a plus. + Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently or in cross-functional teams. + Experience in the energy sector or related industries (preferred but not required). + Prior leadership or team management experience (preferred but not required). + Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences.
