The FP&A Manager for EMEA is responsible for supporting and enhancing the financial planning and decision-making processes across the region. This includes preparing accurate forecasts and budgets, analyzing financial data, and providing actionable insights to leadership. He or she will collaborate with an Analyst, contributing to their development while fostering collaboration within the team. Additionally, he or she will support the advancement of analytics capabilities using tools like Power BI to enable data-driven decisions. This role is pivotal in aligning regional financial objectives with international objectives and identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Planning & Forecasting:
• Assist the FP&A Director in leading the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and long-term strategic financial planning for the EMEA region.
• Partner with regional and corporate leadership to develop accurate and achievable financial plans.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of forecasts in the system.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
• Provide in-depth analysis of financial performance, including revenue, profitability, and expense trends, identifying key drivers and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for regional and corporate stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and recommending actionable insights.
• Work closely and liaise with EMEA accounting teams to monitor, manage, report, and align with business on Operating Expenses spent as well as drive actions to deliver on budget commitments
Strategic Business Support:
• Act as a trusted advisor to the EMEA leadership team, supporting strategic initiatives, business cases, and investment decisions.
• Evaluate new market opportunities, product launches, and other strategic projects from a financial perspective.
Process Improvement & Automation:
• Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for automation to streamline financial workflows.
• Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and procedures.
Specific Finance Project Management:
• Lead or contribute to key finance projects within the EMEA region, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Development of Analytics in Power BI:
• Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics dashboards and reports in Power BI to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity within Power BI environments.
• Train and support team members and stakeholders in utilizing Power BI for financial and operational insights.
• Stay updated on the latest Power BI features and capabilities to continuously enhance analytical tools.
Right arm of the FP&A Director:
• Act as the primary support for the FP&A Director, providing critical insights and proposing new ideas and solutions to improve current processes and tools.
• Serve as the main point of contact for corporate and international FP&A requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred.
• Minimum 7-10 years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally within the medical device or healthcare industry.
• Fluent in French in English
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., OneStream, SAP, Hyperion, Power BI, or similar).
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Experience in Project management a plus.
