Financial Planning & Analysis Manager North America
As the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, North America in McKinney, TX you will support the North America Finance organization by providing the financial systems expertise and analysis necessary to execute Pressure Management’s long term strategic plan. You will assist in leading the finance team by working on and managing financial, strategic plan, budgets, monthly close, and ad hoc requests. You will perform financial analysis of actual performance and business plans and recommend and implement appropriate methods and techniques to be applied by the company in financial analysis and reporting. **In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Develop and lead business intelligence solutions supporting the finance department’s objectives + Facilitate discussions with end users to translate business requirements into functional specifications + Analyze current business processes and make recommendations to increase efficiency and productivity + Assist North America Leadership Team with preparation of quarterly President’s Operating Report (POR), annual budget and long term forecast, as well as Kind of Business (KOB) and Product Line reporting and forecasting + Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements, safeguarding company assets + Conduct analytic review of monthly financial / operating results / key performance indicators, balance sheet accounts, etc. and work with key individuals in the organization to drive corrective actions as appropriate + Lead direct report(s), actively engage in their development and offer leadership within the North America and McKinney Finance/Accounting teams + Evaluate and recommend appropriate methods and techniques for financial evaluation of investment projects and be eager to accept stretch assignments and ad hoc projects as needed + Support processes and systems needs for executing operation strategy and business acquisitions + Encourage an atmosphere of teamwork, safety, creativity, trust and respect + Build and maintain positive working relationships across finance and other functional areas to enhance organizational effectiveness **Who You Are:** You acquire data from multiple and diverse sources when solving problems. You find opportunities that benefit the customer. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related + 7+ years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role + Business understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + A strong analytical mind and skill in interpreting financial data + Ability to think critically and self motivated + Ability to manage and lead employees and coworkers + Attention to detail, time management, problem solving skills and independent judgement to deal with ambiguity + Strong IT skills (including MS Office, including PowerPoint, HFM, and Oracle) + Excellent Excel skills including experience with macros, pivot tables, power query, etc. + Ability to travel both domestically and international up to 10% or as needed + Legal Authorization to work in the US - sponsorship will not be provided **Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:** + MBA/CMA/CPA + Oracle Incentive Compensation and Oracle Costing module experience + Prior experience working at Emerson **OUR OFFER TO YOU:** We recognize for our organization to support a diverse workforce, we must focus on employee wellbeing.
