We are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Partner (FP&A) Master Data Management, who is innovative and agile to join us in our Finance Processes and Transformation Team, based in Brussels, Belgium.
About the role
The FP&A supports the finance and business teams: financial planning, analysis, reporting functions and the transactional Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP) within UCB to ensure that all financial master data is correctly used within the organization.
Who you’ll work with
Business leadership to provide financial support and guidance on the master data management structures. Build and maintain strong relationships with Business Partners, Finance partners, Sourcing counterparts, such as FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Compliance, and Supply Chain; and the technical teams from Record-to-Report (R2R), Genpact (outsourcing partner), Global Finance
What you’ll do
Set the ‘Golden rules’ for each of the key reporting dimensions and provide training.Define the governance concerning master data management and provide training.Ensure a set of data checks on master data usage on cost objects, products, markets, taxonomy, allocations… including also regular cleanup activities.Single point of contact to approve and control required interfaces of financial master data to other systems.Focus of providing analysis to drive data correctness within UCB.Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, systems, and reporting.
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
BSc (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years relevant business experience.Experience/background in SAP & Cognos, with advancing technologies such as predictive analytics and robotics desirable.Able to work within budgetary/financial objectives set by line management.Ability to be the recognized expert for deep technical knowledge and to manage demand from the business for analytics requests.Strong depth of financial, economic and business analysis experience.Ability to proactively challenge business partners and leadership on resource allocation -expenses, business cases, investment proposals, etc. and recommend alternatives.
