Your Responsibilities

Act as a strategic partner to the Marketing and Commercial teams, providing financial leadership and support.

Manage financial performance, headcount, and key metrics for both teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Lead the annual operational and long-term planning processes, as well as monthly P&L reviews.

Conduct variance analysis against budgets, highlighting risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.

Build and maintain advanced financial models and analytical tools to evaluate performance and guide decision-making.

Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.

Develop and maintain financial models for critical programs that incorporate in-year and out year forecasts.

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies  

Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. MBA is a plus

6+ years’ experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or consulting with progressive responsibility and ability to drive performance

Hospitality experience or understanding of Loyalty, Marketing or Commercial teams is a plus

Proven expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Strong experience with financial modeling and data-driven decision-making in a marketing or commercial context.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

Proficiency in analytical tools, financial systems, and presentation software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint).

Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Director of FP&A. You will have 2 peer teammates and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.

Your Work Location

As our Senior FP&A Manager you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in North Bethesda, MD. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we’re located one block away from the North Bethesda Metro station, with service on the Red Line and the MARC Brunswick line, easy access to I-270, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $113,000 - $133,000 annually. In addition to the annual salary, this role is eligible for an annual bonus based on the terms of Choice's Management Incentive Plan (MIP),

The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
