Compensation Range

Hourly: $26.25 - $30.75 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to support the development and delivery of financial plans, which identify areas of financial needs for the high net worth clients at Commerce.

Essential Functions

Provide support to the financial planners by executing the development of comprehensive financial plans

Review financial information collected from clients/prospects, and upload data into the planning software

Manage the workflow of multiple financial plan projects in different stages at the same time

Conduct research on a wide variety of financial planning topics as needed, and implement the findings into the plan analysis

Lead or assist in projects at the discretion of the team leader

Organize high volume of information and maintain libraries of digital data

Communicate effectively to collaborate with internal partners on financial planning projects

Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Intermediate understanding of financial services with practical knowledge of basic financial planning topics and skills

Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate a wide range of information in various formats

Ability to produce work with the highest level of accuracy

Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook 

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Degree in business, finance, accounting or financial planning preferred.

1+ year of working or internship experience in the financial industry preferred

Ability to obtain Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation within 3 years preferred
