**Description**
The FPA role is responsible for providing financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting support to drive data-driven business decisions. This role involves analyzing financial data, developing financial models, preparing financial reports, along with providing insights to help optimize financial performance. The FPA collaborates closely with different departments to ensure alignment between financial planning and business strategy and variance reporting on results compared to budgets and forecasts. The position will also support the preparation of PowerPoint presentations for management and board level meetings. A goal will be for the analyst to develop a knowledge of our data structure and participate in efforts to improve the delivery of financial analysis throughout the organization. This position will report directly to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Attend the daily production call and incorporate changes to the Daily Backlog Report and weekly reforecast.
+ Produce, analyze, and communicate monthly variances with department managers.
+ Maintain and update PowerPoint slides for management and board of director meetings.
+ Collaborate with managers to gather data and provide insights for financial data and business processes.
+ Support management with ad-hoc analysis as directed.
+ Maintain and enhance financial databases and tools for better analysis and reporting.
+ Leverage financial planning software to automate reporting processes and improve accuracy.

+ Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting or related
**Experience**
+ Possess a solid understanding of finance principles and practices gained from a combination of either significant finance coursework along with 2 – 5 years of experience in a financial analyst role.
+ Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
+ Proficient with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders
+ Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
+ Organized, able to complete work accurately and on-time with a high attention to detail.
+ Ability to work with a broad range of professionals both within finance/accounting and other departments by effectively communicating financial data to help improve decision making.
+ Experience in financial analysis for a manufacturing company preferred.
+ Experience using PowerBI or other data analysis/visualization tools a plus.
**Work Environment**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be keyboarding for extended periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The employee will occasionally visit manufacturing areas, prep areas, and storage facilities that require the use of PPE.
