FMP (fleet management program) Analyst
These analysts are developping commercial maintenance plans to determine a pricing strategy for the client. They are collaborating with Product Managers who provide them with client data needed to put togethese pricing proposals. It is the PM to put it together into a contract to a customer, but the FMP is responsible for the rate specific to the contract. They are working on around 10-50 proposals on a yearly basis, they can work on 1-3 proposals per week( dependent on customer size/ company/complexity can vary how many proposals the analyst is working on).
Key tasks:
•\tDefine customized FMP proposals for operators including rate strategies and risk assessments
•\tStrategize product coverage with product managers and global sales team.
•\tConduct assessments of aircraft utilization and maintenance requirements
•\tValidate profitability of 20-year business case of proposals through financial modelling
•\tAdvise proposals and communicate risks with all business units.
•\tConduct audits on previous revenue-cost analyses
•\tAdvise and implement improvements to proposal procedures and financial models
•\tSupport team in achieving an increased PPH penetration in markets.
•\tSupport the negotiation process until contract signature
•\tEvolve the FMP product to integrate new services in an integrated commercial offering supporting the market needs.
•\tThe will be working within Excel – the modeling rates strategies and the proposal itself
•\tThe analyst is the benchmark/modelling/analytical backbone of the proposal. This person will have to properly frame assumptions and understand the business implications.
•\tThere is a lot of teamwork and collaboration involved on a day to day basis.
•\tTools they are using is mostly all excel extractions or past proposals. The modelling tool used day to day is a unique model.
•\tThey are inputting data in the tool to acquire the desired output.
Must haves:
•\tBachelor degree (Administration, Commerce, Finance, Engineering)
•\tExcellent analytical skills
•\tIntermediate Excel skills (Pivot tables, vlookup)
o\tBachelor’s in (Finance/Engineering/Commerce/Accounting)
o\t3-5 years of experience in an analytical role
\tMore experienced; General aviation market
o\tPassionate about the Aerospace industry
o\tStrong English communication
Assets:
o\tData/Pricing modelling/Putting together proposals
o\tFrench language skills
o\tUnderstanding the ecosystem (OEM’s, supply chain, engine cycles, MRO experience, understanding the business model of an airline, understanding the cost structure of an engine)
o\tAerospace experience
o\tMaster’s degree, MBA or Master’s in Engineering
•\tDisqualifications?
o\tSomeone who is “overqualified”; 15 years of experience in a consultant or Director type of role.
o\tSomeone who is looking for something short-term
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $45.00
Workplace Type
