Financial Planning and Analysis Intern - Summer 2025

Come join us at Perdue AgriBusiness for Summer 2025! Our Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”) Internship offers students hands-on, real-world experience within the company over a 10 - 12 week period.

This position has a target wage of $21.90 - $28.13 per hour, based on graduation year. 

Principal Responsibilities

•    Analyze financial trends against forecast and budget; prepare reporting packages summarizing monthly/quarter/year-end performance. Learn P&L details/drivers and how to explain key variances
•    Provide timely and accurate financial support for forecast and planning activities. Learn the process for building budgets and how to reconcile to actuals 
•    Track financial performance for key strategic initiatives and projects
•    Complete ad hoc analyses and special projects as requested
•    Utilize data visualization to present complex information clearly and concisely; create and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards that use tools such as PowerBI

 

Minimum Education Must be a rising Senior currently pursuing a Bachelors OR a Second-Year graduate student  at an accredited university in a relevant field of study (Finance, Accounting, or Economics)  Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA or higher; 3.5 GPA or higher is highly preferred Experience Requirements

•    Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and able to learn new software
•    Possess strong Analytical, Communication (written and verbal) and Time Management skills
•    Must be able to work independently or in teams

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.  May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db.
May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.  May need to climb ladders.
