**DESCRIPTION**
We are looking for a talented Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team specializing in Finance for our CT, Bloomfield office.
**Job Summary:**
Responsible for leading the development and preparation of forecasting, analyzing, and evaluating financial plans and budgets for the assigned business unit or corporation.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**To be successful in this role, you will need the following:**
+ **Financial Acumen:** Strong understanding of financial principles and practices to develop, consolidate, and prepare budgets and financial reports.
+ **Analytical Skills:** Ability to interpret, evaluate, and analyze financial data to present clear and actionable insights to management.
+ **Business Partnering:** Effective collaboration with management to deliver financial results, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks.
+ **Project Management:** Expertise in designing, developing, and managing strategic financial analysis projects to support business objectives.
+ **Technical Proficiency:** Proficiency in financial systems to ensure accurate and efficient financial analysis.
+ **Leadership:** Strong leadership skills to manage and mentor a team of Financial Analysts, including assigning work, assessing performance, and providing feedback.
+ **Communication:** Excellent communication skills to present financial data and insights clearly to various stakeholders.
+ **Coaching and Mentoring:** Ability to coach and mentor team members, fostering their development and ensuring they have the skills needed to succeed.
**Education, Licenses, Certifications:**
College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required. Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification required.
**Experience:**
Significant experience required, including supervisory experience.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Significant experience required, including managerial and budgetary experience in an operations manufacturing environment:
+ Lead global forecasting and annual financial planning cycles, including AOP/Simulation, monthly actual reporting, and quarterly forecast.
+ Manage global cost reduction projects analysis and support plant Operations management.
+ Lead local financial systems maintenance and management.
+ Strong analytical skills are a must. Analyzes business results, determines root causes and prepares recommendations and alternatives for review by management.
+ Excellent communication skills are also a requirement for this position - upward, cross-functional, and peer level.
+ Drive problem solving, process improvement and when needed conflict management.
+ CMA, CPA qualified with proficiency in Finance system and Excel are preferred.
