**The Opportunity**
This **Financial Planning and Analysis Manager** works out of our **Lake Forest, Illinois** office. This role will directly support the Commercial Senior Leadership Team, as well as the Global Commercial Controller and the AMD Division Controller. The primary responsibility for this role is the financial reporting and analysis of the AMD commercial P&L including providing key insights around sales and profitability trends and presenting consolidated forecast and analysis to senior leadership.
**What You’ll Work On**
+ Responsible to understand the main commercial strategies across the Key markets and help to create effective analysis/communication to present financial components to Sr Division Leadership including identifying trend anomalies, risk and opportunities in sales and P&L.
+ Provide direct financial support for the long-term sales strategy through Abbott’s Organic Execution Model (OEM) and Annual Plan forecasting.
+ Act as a key liaison with Area finance team to align deadlines for all the financial planning cycles, information requirements, reports and analysis required to ensure deliverables are submitted timely.
+ Supporting key global sales tenders including pricing analysis and risk management for all regions.
+ Ensure a robust planning system in area to meet BU and Division requirements, recommend improvements to process to ensure efficient and timely results.
+ Provide financial guidance to commercial affiliates/plants in the preparation of the revenue and operating budget planning and all relevant reporting requirements.
+ Support the on-going product and region profitability assessment and product pricing process including support of margin & profitability initiatives.
+ Ensure reporting requirements to BU, Division, and Corporate are met in accordance with established calendars and timelines.
+ Perform other Ad-hoc tasks as required by Area, Division, Corporate.
+ Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Support affiliates in activities related to accounting policies and procedures, consistent with General Accepted Accounting Practices and AI policies, Corporate Financial Procedures, and sound business practices.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred in accounting or finance. Eight (8) plus years of accounting or finance related experience.
+ 8 years' experience with financial and/or accounting related experience, with strong people and communication skills and ability to interact with diverse and senior levels of the organization.
+ Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
+ Demonstrated experience working with financial system applications.
+ Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
+ Ability to work on multiple priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Preferred experience in SAP, IBM Cognos,
+ Advanced degree MBA or MA in Accountancy / Finance

The base pay for this position is $97,300.00 – $194,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
