Job Description:At Regions, the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager partners with senior leadership to ensure the effective and efficient execution of key processes to aid in the achievement of financial objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
Ensures execution of key financial planning and analysis processes including monthly forecasts, strategic financial plans, annual budget and capital planningProvides effective challenge to forecast results and methodologiesOversees a team responsible for the timely, accurate, and complete reporting of budgets and forecastsDevelops prospective business plans and financial forecasts for executive leadership reviewBuilds and maintains strong relationships and effective communication with key stakeholders and functional partners across businesses in support of planning and forecasting effortsDelivers sound financial information to the executive team, including business trends, key performance measures, and in-depth cause and effect analysis on a variety of financial/business/operating issuesOversees a team that prepares ad-hoc and standard financial analysis and reports, as requested, providing insight into Regions’ operations and financial performanceEnsures all key Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and financial systems processes are documented, key controls identified, and procedures developed to periodically test the effectiveness of controlsReviews work and provides feedback, training, guidance, and development to teamIdentifies, executes and monitors progress on opportunities for improvementThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a directly related field with eight (8) years finance experienceOr, Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a directly related field with six (6) years finance experiencePreferences

Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
