Financial Planning & Real Estate Analyst

**Job Summary:**
The Analyst will provide financial forecasting, business planning, and general accounting support to the FP&A and Real Estate Analytics leadership while working in a high paced environment. This position will produce and provide financial analyses to internal clients and management.
The analyst will also support the real estate decision making process through in-depth financial analysis and investment recommendations, sales & expense forecasting, and real estate analytics, in partnership with various corporate functions.
**Responsibilities:**
**Key Accountabilities:**
+ Maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly models that assemble financial forecast for the stores and real estate, and sync that information with the financial planning system
+ Prepare month-end and quarter-end entries, financial reporting & GL analysis as needed
+ Extract and report KPI for Stores and Real Estate deals
+ Maintain supplier/partner database, plan for expenditures, and track payment history and metrics
+ Assist with the development of a LRP and in the annual Budget process
+ Support real estate specific or company strategic initiatives such as long rang plan, open-to-buy, and customer experience
+ Work with Real Estate Managers to create Deal sheets and lease analytics for management evaluations.
+ Provide spatial analysis and support RE analytics including demographics, sales distribution, trade area analysis, etc.
+ Partner with cross functional teams
+ Test and suggest new reports in response to current business issues and execute the necessary changes to implement
+ Complete special projects and analysis as needed
**Education and Experience:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
+ 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial planning and analysis, retail industry a plus

+ Solid knowledge of financial theory and able to perform financial analysis in a fast paced environment
+ Expert in Excel; Strong in PowerPoint

+ Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently
+ Looks for opportunities to improve existing processes
+ Collaborator with a positive attitude
+ Agile learner, able to quickly assimilate relationships between variables under analysis
+ SAP, Hyperion, or Cognos experience a plus
