The Opportunity:

KBR's Aerospace MSP Program requires the support of an experienced Financial Project Manager to assist in the financial management and governance across the Project Office, Group.

The Financial Project Manager will report to the Project Office Director and is responsible for the effective delivery of all financial management related taskings. They will also support the broader Project Office Team in project financial management, planning, governance, cost and schedule management.

Responsibilities:

Broadly, the Financial Project Manager will be required to:

Monitor and assist Sub-Projects to complete reporting requirements and track expenses against phased budgetsFacilitate bi-annual financial reporting activities across Sub-Projects and Sustainment reviews with Product owners.Use Defence and Divisional mandated tools, systems, and softwareSupport the team to centralise project controls activities managed throughout the program office including cost estimation, risk, lessons learnt and schedule development, maintenance and analysis.Review/refine/develop/retire project controls artefacts to support the program office strategic and operational outcomes.Mentor and knowledge transfer project controls and reporting expertise across the broader team.Connect and analyse project activity and resource schedulesAnalyse, define and establish financial management practices in accordance with Defence / CASG policies.

As the ideal candidate you will bring:

Demonstrated expertise and experience in financial management and project financial management;Demonstrated experience in the Defence Environment;Demonstrated experience in the current One Defence Capability System;Demonstrated competence and experience in complex stakeholder engagement;Effective written and oral communications and skills;Advanced MS Office Skills (Excel, Project etc.);Familiarity with Defence Project Management tools; andDemonstrated experience in the CASG SPO environment (desirable).

All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Negative Vetting 1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding an NV1 Clearance or above should apply.
