Description Our client is seeking a diligent Financial Record Assistant to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded, and assisting with financial analysis and forecasts as necessary. Responsibilities: + Assist in managing day-to-day accounting operations and ensure that there is a redundant process backup in place for every critical operation. + Leverage ERP systems for automatic recording of financial transactions and reconciliations. + Assist in the preparation and coordination of the audit process. + Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast processes. + Assist with tax audits and tax returns. + Support month-end and year-end close processes. + Contribute to the development of budgets and financial forecasts. + Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports. + Liaise with our Financial Manager and Accounting Manager to improve financial procedures. + Maintain confidentiality of organizational information. Requirements Requirements: + Proven experience as a financial or accounting assistant. + Understanding of financial and accounting principles. + Proficient in MS Office (especially MS Excel) and knowledge of any financial software is preferred. + Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills. + Excellent communication, organizational, and team management skills. + A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
