Financial Reporting Analyst

Pay Rate: $40 Location: Mississauga ON Job Type: Contract Our client located in the heart of Mississauga is hiring a Financial Reporting Analyst on a 6-month contract. As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for consolidating and analyzing the financial results of the company while playing a major role in the budget planning process.
The main responsibilities include the following;
Prepare and consolidate financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and business plans. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement. Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports in compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial information and support decision-making processes. Assist in the development and improvement of financial reporting processes and systems. Reconcile financial data to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial reports. Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
To be considered for the role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related business field Proven experience in financial reporting or a similar role CPA designation considered a strong asset Strong organizational and planning skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software
