Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Client Financial Associate based in Durham, North Carolina. The role primarily involves handling customer financial procedures and maintaining accurate records within the healthcare industry. As a Client Financial Associate, you will be tasked with various responsibilities that require a keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills. This position is remote in approved states only.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain their credit records.
• Support in the development, analysis, and presentation of financial claims and invoicing reports.
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts for loss coverage and claims expense.
• Verify and identify manual transaction fees and contractual adjustments as necessary.
• Prepare account reconciliations and assist with monthly run out and final close out activities.
• Contribute to the preparation of data for internal and external audits.
• Process various client transactions including suspension or hold of claims, administrative fees, and employer group settlement.
• Determine eligibility for stop loss coverage on specific claims based on contract terms.
• Assist with quality reviews of operational inquiries to verify information accuracy and ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
• Support the preparation of reports and analysis for various audiences such as Self-Funded Groups, Employer Stop Loss Vendors, and Sales Underwriting.
Requirements
Required
HS Diploma, College degree preferred
0-2 years of experience in related field
In lieu of degree, 3 years of experience in related field
Desired skills and experience include:
+ Strong analytical and accounting skills
+ Proficiency in Excel (preferred)
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Experience reviewing claims and financial data (helpful but not required)
+ Ability to analyze reports and explain financial trends
Experience with FACETS and healthcare is a plus but not mandatory. This role requires motivated entry- to mid-level professionals eager to learn, with an estimated six-month ramp-up to achieve full proficiency in reporting and financial trend analysis.
