The Financial Reporting Lead will oversee the internal and external preparation and distribution of all financial statements and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.Monitor and manage the company’s financial reporting risks.Ensuring compliance with financial reporting and disclosure requirements such as monthly and quarterly reports, compliance certificates, annual reports and overseeing their distributionEstablishing systems and controls to manage financial information securely, and assisting in implementing controls to ensure compliance with GDC’s financial reportingCommunicating with management and business units to make sure all financial reporting deadlines are metWe are looking for someone who is proactive and process driven to deliver results on or ahead of deadlines. Qualifications

Experience & Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent combination of education and work exp in lieu of degree)CPA a plus but not required7+ years of professional experience in accounting and financial analysisProven ability to meet deadlines with accurate reporting

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and real estate finance concepts such as IRR and DSCR.Preferred experience with MRI, Dealpath, ExcelAbility to think critically and evaluate data, providing insights beyond just numbers.Proven ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to summarize large amounts of data clearly and concisely.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.

 

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.    

 

For Providence, RI this ranges from $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
