Financial Reporting Manager

What you'll do:

The Financial Reporting Manager role will be responsible for assisting with the accounting and financial reporting of the Company, with an emphasis on projects and financial system integrations. The Financial Reporting Manager is expected to have robust subject matter expertise and the ability to lead and manage projects and integrations efforts largely autonomously. This position works closely with the Accounting and Finance leadership and other Finance team members to complete projects and will also perform various ad hoc accounting duties and analysis.

Work collaboratively with Business Intelligence and Technology teams to lead process improvement initiatives within Accounting departmentManage configurations for Accounting applicationsEnhance reporting from Oracle to SQL databasesMaintain Accounting interfaces and troubleshoot any issuesDevelop automated reconciliations for Oracle data feedsEnsure all Accounting systems and databases reconcileBuild Smartview reports/ SQL queries as needed for Accounting teamDevelop, test, and deploy new processes or applications that interface with Accounting applicationsCoordinate planning and resource management for new product implementations or other initiatives requiring upgrades and/or enhancements for Accounting systemsPrepare and update Desktop proceduresAssist with future enhancements to GL applicationsPerform other ad hoc duties and special projects as assignedAssist with other accounting duties as needed

What you will need:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.  CPA or CPA candidateMinimum 7 years of experience in Finance / Accounting role in the financial services industryAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to work with large datasetsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL or DatabasesAbility to work independently to drive projects to timely completionHighly organized with great attention to detailStrong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skillsPrior accomplishments in process improvements and system implementationsExperience with Intacct, Oracle and/or SmartviewCPA or CPA candidateMortgage Banking experience a plus

Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $130,400.00 - $153,412.50 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
