Financial Reporting Manager
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Reporting Manager in Costa Mesa, California. This role encompasses the direction and organization of all general accounting and financial activities for our projects. The successful candidate will be reconciling operational and financial records, managing audits, and focusing on process control improvements and efficiencies of the program. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement accounting standard operating procedures, including internal controls • Direct and evaluate the performance of the accounting activities and staff • Regularly monitor and update accounting systems and procedures • Handle weekly payables and customer refunds • Supervise the preparation of daily and monthly journal entries • Oversee the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis for clients • Manage daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations • Evaluate back-office operating software for efficiency and operational improvements • Ensure successful achievement of daily and monthly key performance measures • Participate in both internal project meetings and client meetings • Communicate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal/external auditors • Supervise internal audits, such as monthly physical inventory audits • Oversee external audits, such as SOC 1 Type II audit • Stay up-to-date with current accounting trends, practices, and developments in the profession, including governmental accounting standards and regulations. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Experience with ADP - Financial Services • Familiarity with BlackLine • Knowledge of EPS • Competence in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning • Ability to handle Accounting Functions • Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) • Auditing skills • Knowledge of Balance Sheet Account • Experience in Budget Processes Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
