Your Responsibilities IncludeSupport the month-end and year-end close process.Prepare monthly journals for the close process reviewing and investigating any discrepancies.Prepare Bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.Responsible for preparing, providing detailed support, and reviewing for accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations for all accounts.Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.Assist with the preparation for, and coordination of, the periodic audits and reviews by external auditors.Assist in managing accounting systems and maintain full and accurate accounting records.Prepare special financial report as requested by management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.Assist with special projects as needed.Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization1-5 years of experience in an accounting roleProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelHigh level of integrity and confidentialityStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsProven attention to detail and accuracyHigh degree of organization and attention to detailAbility to multi-taskFlexibility and willingness to learn and change in a fast-paced environmentStrong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbalResults-driven approachWhat We OfferA meaningful career where your work will improve the lives of millions of Americans – especially the least fortunateA vision-driven community of over 1,000 employees across the country who are dedicated to improving the lives of othersCompetitive salaries and bonuses.
