The Role:
Rabobank Australia’s Financial Restructuring & Recovery (FR&R) team, a key component of the Risk Management department, is responsible for developing & implementing recovery strategies for clients facing financial difficulties.
We are currently seeking a Financial Restructuring & Recovery Associate to join our team based in Sydney. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Financial Restructuring Relationship team. This position offers significant development opportunities, allowing you to grow & advance your career within a dynamic & supportive environment.
Top Role Accountabilities:
Collaborating with Financial Restructuring Relationship Managers to develop & implement effective restructuring & recovery strategies.Reviewing applications through the Bank’s internal systems, arranging & attending meetings with stakeholders, & providing timely loan updates.Liaising with decision-making bodies & internal lawyers within the bank.Reviewing documentation related to clients, including Banking Code of Practice correspondence & other required communications.Analysing financial information provided by clients & inputting data into the Bank’s internal systems.Preparing various reports to support the team’s efforts.To be successful you will have:
2 years’ experience gained within a financial institution or insolvency practiceExcellent verbal, interpersonal & written communication skillsAn ability to handle difficult situations with sensitivity, tact & empathyStrong negotiation skillsExcellent analytical skills Proficiency in MS Word & ExcelAn understanding of agribusiness (highly regarded)Our Values
