Compensation includes a base salary of $77,800.00 - $116,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. vAuto, a Cox Automotive brand, is hiring a Financial Senior Analyst. The Senior Analyst will support budget and forecasting activities, long-range planning, monthly results analysis, and ad hoc financial analysis for the $600m vAuto business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monthly development and interpretation of financial results, variance analysis, as well as analysis of key performance metrics and business drivers to identify trends and make recommendations.
Provide analysis of month end results and drive the development of forecasts and the identification and quantification of risks and opportunities.
Partner with business leads and matrix partners to ensure accurate, timely reporting and analysis for all ad hoc requests.
Develop business cases to support leadership decisioning for initiatives and investments.
Assist with developing recommendations through analysis, providing financial and operational insights necessary to help manage and improve the team’s performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with 4+ years of experience working in a financial environment. A candidate may also have a Master's Degree with 2+ years of experience. A non-degreed candidate will have 8+ years of experience.
Outstanding analytical skills and a high degree of intellectual curiosity.
Advanced Excel skills (including financial functions, formulas, shortcuts, pivot tables, lookups, charting/graphing) and command of PowerPoint (design, formatting, charting/graphing).
Highly-organized with high sense of ownership and excellent follow-through.
The ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and the proven ability to influence other finance and business leaders are critical success factors.
A focus on continuous improvement, including the enhancement of finance processes and procedures
