Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $77,800.00 - $116,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

Cox Automotive is hiring a Financial Senior Analyst. The Financial Senior Analyst will be a key member of our successful team, providing vital support in reporting, budget and forecasting activities, long-range planning, and ad hoc financial analysis for the Consumer Solutions business within Cox Automotive. This role will specifically support the next phase of our Ecommerce business, including F&I Intelligence and Automation integration with Dealer Central.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct monthly development and interpretation of financial results.

Perform variance analysis and analyze key performance metrics.

Identify trends and business drivers to make informed recommendations.

Finance Leadership: Serve as the finance lead supporting the Consumer Solution’s VP of Operations Ecommerce, providing comprehensive financial support for the Ecommerce and Deal Central businesses.

Financial Analysis: Conduct analysis of month-end results, drive the development of forecasts, and identify and quantify risks and opportunities.

Collaborative Reporting: Partner with business leads and matrix partners to ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis for all ad hoc requests.

Business Case Development: Develop business cases to support leadership decision-making for initiatives and investments.

Performance Improvement: Assist in developing recommendations through analysis, offering financial and operational insights necessary to manage and enhance the team’s performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field with 4+ years of work experience in a financial environment. A candidate may also have a Master's Degree with 2+ years of experience. A non-degreed candidate will have 8+ years of experience.

MBA is a plus

Strong analytical ability with track record of delivered results

Solid analytical and research capabilities required

Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Self-starter with flexibility and willingness to balance multiple, changing priorities and work under tight deadlines and experienced in organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating one’s own work

Work effectively on multiple assignments, activities, or projects

Advanced MS Excel skills required, including formulas, financial functions, pivot tables, design, and formatting for executive presentations

Experience with OneStream Enterprise Financial system is a strong plus.
