Compensation includes a base salary of $79,400.00 - $119,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Cox Automotive Fleet Services is looking for a Financial Senior Analyst to join our team in Atlanta, GA or Indianapolis, IN.
The Role:
Cox Automotive is seeking a dynamic Financial Analyst to join the Fleet Services Finance team. This role will be responsible for the financial modeling of business cases, planning/reporting activities, business health assessments, and various ad hoc analyses. Contributions will be felt immediately with business partnership and support, budgeting/planning responsibilities, and key month-end reporting and analysis deliverables. Also, this role directly contributes to the annual target setting process and influences a variety of priority finance projects.
Successful candidates will have a solid understanding of financial modeling, financial statements, variance analysis, and reporting key business drivers. We are a highly visible team, who work together in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role requires a motivated candidate who is comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze financial performance against established budget, prior year, and competitorsDevelop complex financial models and business cases to support functional business leaders with key business decisionsHave an ability to analyze large amounts of raw data and then repackage, simplify, and determine key takeaways from the resultsAssist with the development of management presentations for an executive-level audience resulting from financial analysis and business case analysisEvaluate business performance by developing reporting tools to ensure the company achieves desired results from key business decisions and initiatives.Assist with the planning, coordination and development of annual P&L budgets, quarterly forecasts and long-range plans.Perform “gap-closure” analysis by interpreting financial data, completing variance analysis and identifying key expense drivers to detect expense trends and make recommendations based on risks and opportunitiesAssist with providing recommendations to increase our effective use of our financial systems and tools to meet our analytic and reporting needsComplete complex projects and prepare ad hoc analysis and reports as neededProvide finance support for various Fleet Services operational functionsQUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting with 4+ years of business experience with a strong focus in financial planning (budget/ forecast), financial analysis and business case modeling. A candidate may also have a Master's Degree with 2+ years of experience or a Ph.D. with 1+ year of experience. A non-degreed candidate will have 8+ years of experienc.Strong knowledge of financial concepts, practices and procedures.Demonstrated analytical ability and high degree of intellectual curiosity with a track record of delivered results.Advanced MS Excel skills required, including logical and reference formulas, financial functions, use of pivot tables, best practice in financial model structure/design, assumption toggling, charting/graphing and formatting for executive presentations.Experience with OneStream Planning and OneStream Reporting is a strong plus.Proven ability to prepare executive level presentations and insights.Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.Self-starter with flexibility and willingness to balance multiple, changing priorities and ability to work under tight deadlines. Experienced in organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating one’s own work.Advanced MS PowerPoint skills preferred, with an emphasis on effective, professional presentation design/formatting.Drug Testing
