Our client, a top AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated junior to mid-level Associate Attorney to join their Financial Services Litigation Practice Group in Kansas City. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigator to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment while handling sophisticated matters in the financial services sector.

 

Candidate Profile:

JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Active Missouri Bar Admission. 3+ years of substantive litigation experience in commercial real estate, distressed loans, debt and security instruments, or creditor and lender liability. Extensive legal writing experience, including drafting briefs, complaints, pretrial motions, memoranda, and discovery requests. Strong research, writing, and communication skills, with prior law firm or judicial clerkship experience preferred.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in complex financial services litigation matters involving commercial real estate and loan-related disputes. Draft high-quality legal documents, including motions, briefs, and discovery materials. Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to develop case strategy and execute high-stakes litigation. Engage in direct client interactions, offering guidance and solutions in a fast-paced environment.
