Location: DHS Offices located at 3801 Nebraska Ave, Washington, DC or other offices within the National Capital Region (NCR).
Job Type: Full-Time
Annual Salary Range: $40 to $50 per hour

INTECON, LLC is seeking a skilled Financial Specialist to support internal control initiatives, including dashboard development, financial data analytics, risk assessments, and operational reporting in support of DHS I&A's financial oversight mission.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The roles shall include:
+ Translate complex financial information into data-driven dashboards and metrics aligned with DHS internal control goals.
+ Provide analytical support and recommendations for corrective action planning and audit response.
+ Respond to financial inquiries with defensible, data-backed positions.
+ Support development of training materials and engagement strategies for Government staff.
+ Contribute to enterprise risk discussions by identifying financial exposure and program risks.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated expertise in financial operations, internal controls, or risk analysis.
Preferred Certifications and Training:
+ Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
+ Risk Management certification (e.g., CRMA)
Proficiency in:
+ Data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
+ Internal control frameworks (OMB A-123, FMFIA)
+ Dashboard design and performance metrics
Security Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TOP SECRET/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
