Job Description:
This position provides analysis and reports related to the budgeting, strategic planning, activity based costing, variance, patient accounts and operations data, and ad-hoc analysis processes which are used to ensure sound financial operations. This position provides decision support to management. Performs duties under initial close supervision, then after training performs routine tasks with general review.This position is a hybrid position to local Billings, MT applicants only.
Develops and tests complex projections modelsCommunicates effectively with site and system financial leadership to establish key financial variables requiring special analysisAble to conceptualize and create effective data extracts from both the GL and Decision Support systems to analyze specific cost structure, payer, service line or other issuesConceptualize, structure and perform other analytical projects as requiredResponsible for managing scope and completion of work, meeting deadlines, and providing deliverables to the customers or end users. Manages complex projects, schedules and facilitates meetings as necessary to complete assignments. Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures and quality standards.Defines optimal financial model structures based on site-specific financial projection issuesPromotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, and abides by service behavior standards.Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.Experience
Required: Two (2) years relevant experience is preferred.Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree is preferredFive (5) years with at least Two (2) in health care is preferred
