Job Description

The Financial Systems Administrator will support the maintenance and ongoing betterment of NetSuite at insightsoftware.  This role will help drive the day-to-day support of the NetSuite platform, assist with the onboarding of acquisitions through data and process migration, and will be highly interactive with the business units that work in the NetSuite ecosystem. This position will have responsibility to recommend and implement business processes, reporting, dashboards, integrations, security, workflow, feeds, and configurations that enable NetSuite to drive business alignment and maximize organizational and business performance.

This person will work to ensure that the functionality of NetSuite, and support systems, is optimized and that all users are well positioned with the training and knowledge needed to effectively use the systems to their fullest.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain system controls for NetSuite and other assigned systemsMust be able to effectively communicate with end users and other members of the IT team to understand and help solve complex problemsTranslate new business requirements into technical designsDevelop, test, release, and support any organization initiativesProvide user support with regard to all aspects of our core systems, including system documentation and training materials.Maintain proper system access for all rolesPerform regular data audits, check error logs, and resolve issues identifiedCreate and deliver reports and data through saved searches and datasetsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite functionality, customization, and integrationClearly communicate project status to key stakeholders

Requirements/Competencies:

Minimum of 2 years working with NetSuite.Minimum of 3 years working in Finance/accounting systems administrationBachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or comparable experienceExperience with NetSuite modules including core financials, procurement, and sales order processingA strong understanding of business processes and requirementsProject management and system implementation experienceAbility to create and complete project deliverables and documentationStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong Excel skills including VLookup, XLookup, SumIf, and others.Ability to work independently with minimal guidance to meet corporate and team objectivesBasic knowledge of accounting principles and practicesBasic understanding of revenue recognition conceptsExperience with the SuiteCloud developer tools such as SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBundler are a plusExperience with Salesforce, Boomi, OpenAir, Kantata, Power BI, and Workday are a plusUnderstanding of JavaScript and/or Python are a plusNetSuite certifications such as the SuiteFoundation and SuiteAnalytics are a plusSQL experience (preferably using Snowflake) is preferred
