Job Description

The Financial Systems Analyst will manage and support the financial modules within the organization's ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system and oversee external financial reporting tools. This role involves producing and analyzing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, while also serving as the primary liaison between the Finance and IT departments to ensure alignment of financial processes with technical solutions. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Manage the financial and related modules (i.e., Procurement, Inventory, Project accounting. etc.) in the ERP system, ensuring data integrity and functionality. 

Oversee and maintain the financial reporting system outside of the ERP. 

Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports, along with ad-hoc analysis as required. 

Act as the primary interface between the Finance and IT teams, translating financial requirements into technical solutions. 

Lead or support ERP implementations and financial system rollouts, ensuring smooth transitions and operational efficiency. 

Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization, leveraging tools such as Power BI (Business Intelligence) or other relevant systems. 

Assist in the continuous improvement of financial systems to meet evolving business needs. 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. 

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of financial systems. 

Experience in leading or supporting ERP implementations and financial system rollouts. 

Skills & Competencies: 

Advanced proficiency in Excel, including data modeling and complex functions. 

Preferred Experience with Power BI or other automation tools or an aptitude and desire to learn 

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate financial needs into IT terms. 

Excellent project management skills, with a record of accomplishment in managing cross-functional initiatives. 

Proven leadership acumen and the ability to drive change across teams.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. 

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

A collaborative mindset and a passion for improving financial processes.
