**Job Title: Finish Carpenter** **Job Description** As a Finish Carpenter, you will work on various units, spending a few days on each project before moving on to the next. You will start with training to learn how to properly cut, measure, and install materials. Upon completion of your training, you will be responsible for tasks such as trimming, installing baseboards, casings, door frames, railings, crown molds, and cabinets. **Responsibilities** + Cut, measure, and install materials accurately. + Perform finish tasks including trim, baseboards, casings, door frames, railings, crown molds, and cabinets. + Utilize hand and power tools efficiently. + Ensure attention to detail in all tasks. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency with tape measure, hand and power tools. + Strong attention to detail. + Ability to perform saw cuts accurately. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 6+ months of general labor, landscaping, or construction/outdoor experience. + 6+ months of experience working in a physical environment, including tasks performed on hands and knees. + Ability to routinely lift 75lbs on the job. **Why Work Here?** We offer an environment where you can learn and master the carpentry trade. There are opportunities for advancement to the role of foreman, and we supply all necessary tools. **Work Environment** The work schedule is Monday to Friday, starting at 6/7 am and ending in the afternoon. You will work at various site locations including Maple Grove, Plymouth, Dayton, and potentially other cities like Cottage Grove and Chaska. Candidates must be willing to commute to these locations as needed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minnetrista, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
