Job Description

The Finished Products Manager is responsible for leadership and promotion of the quality and food systems throughout the facility.  The role has accountability (directly or through subordinates) of primary and secondary inspection, packaging, bottle packing, palletization and resort.   

The Finished Products Manager will:  

Work with the leadership team to develop, track, and execute a Quality Improvement Plan for closure of identified risks from audits, food safety reviews, customer complaints and job change activitiesLead activities for improvement in the cold endEnsure department related budgetary items are properly forecasted and adhered toWork with all relevant production leaders to develop a comprehensive plan for held ware generation and held ware inventory reductions

The Finished Products Manager should have:

Experience supervising and training employeesAbility to communicate effectively across all levels of the organizationExcellent change management and people skills

QualificationsHigh school diplomaPrevious glass industry experience, preferably in quality/inspection systems and packagingPrevious experience supervising/leading people and processes in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the glass industry   Experience or certification in Lean Six Sigma is preferred Ability to interact with all levels of management, both external and internal to O-I

 What we offer at O-I: 

Salary Range:  The expected salary range for this position is between $120,000 - $135,000 and includes a possible 15% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
