Adecco is assisting a local Client located in East Syracuse that is looking for a Plastics Finisher. The position is a temp to hire opportunity with a pay range of $16.00-$18.00 per hour, depending on experience! Summary/Objective: Finishes molded parts to customer specifications. Job Responsibilities · Mix filler and hardener per instructions. · Inspect parts and fill voids. · Using sandpaper, straight drill, and sander, finish parts per job instructions. · Verify counts, scan job traveler, and route to the next location. · Meet quality and quantity standards for the position. · Proactively supports the ISO process approach to quality management and the Syteline MIS system. · Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. · Adheres to all safety policies and practices, consistently uses personal protective equipment, and practices good housekeeping. · Maintains regular on-time attendance and adheres to company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct. · Applies classroom and on the job post training information, knowledge, skills, and abilities consistently in a quality-oriented manner (wherein the KSAs are part of the jobs tasks, duties and other tasks as requested). · Performs other tasks as directed. Educational, Experience Based, and Skill Qualifications · High school graduate or equivalent with manual dexterity. 6 months’ experience in a surface finishing function preferable. · Ability to read job travelers/job specification. · Strong attention to detail.
