Onin Staffing is seeking a skilled and motivated Finisher/Grinder Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate grinding equipment, prepare surfaces for finishing, and ensure that workpieces meet quality standards.
What you'll do as: Finisher/Grinder Operator
Mounting/removing materials onto production equipmentOperating grinding equipmentFiling grooved, contoured, and irregular surfaces of metal objectsGrinding, sanding, cleaning, or polishing objects or partsMeasuring and marking equipment, objects, or partsWork Experience
1-2 years experience using hand/power toolsExperience in a metal object or auto-body repairExperience in a metal fabrication machine shopHigh School/GED preferredWorkkeys Level 3 in Applied Math, Graphic Literacy, and Workplace Documents preferred
Physical Requirements:Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and grasp.Ability to push, pull, and lift 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.Must be able to wear a respirator, ear protection, safety glasses, or other PPE as required.
Work Environment:Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to loud noises, fluctuating temperatures, dust, and fumes.
