Job Description

Sharon Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Finisher Helper for our facility located in Farrell, PA. Production Workers operate process equipment, produce, and package product, and perform other tasks essential to our production operation.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working with hand and/or power equipmentRunning any/all machineryMaterial handlingEnsuring proper safety procedures are followedOperating Mobile EquipmentOperating packing and banding equipmentOther duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma/GED required1+ years industrial experience strongly preferredGood work historyProven mechanical aptitudeAttention to detail, dependability, professionalismAbility to work shift workAbility to work OT as neededAbility to pass drug/physical/background checkLegally authorized to work in the USRegular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this roleLead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy

 

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.Must be able to remain in a stationary position for several hoursAbility to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull.Must be able to lift 60lbs.Must be able to stand for 10-12 hoursAbility to perform work in a plant/manufacturing environmentOther physical requirements as needed for job Job Footer (US)
