**Job Title: Finishing Carpenter** **Job Description** We are currently working on several large projects in St. Croix Falls and the surrounding metro area. Most of our projects are located within the metro and west metro regions, with upcoming projects set to start within the next month in Southern Minneapolis. While the majority of our projects are in the west metro, candidates must be comfortable traveling to locations like Monticello, Hastings, Excelsior, and occasionally to the eastern side of Wisconsin. **Responsibilities** + Assist other carpenters with new construction builds. + Work on custom high-end framing and finish carpentry projects throughout the metro. + Perform custom stick framing along with installing trim, casing, and cabinets. + Install windows and doors as needed. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of experience in both interior and exterior carpentry. + Proficiency in stick framing and finish carpentry. + Must have their own tools (level, square, cordless tools). + Valid driver's license and insurance (if converted to a full-time employee). + Ability to drive to sites up to 30 miles from their residence. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in commercial construction. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Motivated, attention to detail, high quality workmanship. + Ability to work both indoors and outdoors during the winter months. **Why Work Here?** We offer an employee tenure average of over 10 years, competitive PTO, paid holidays, a 401k plan, mileage reimbursement for projects out of the metro, per diem reimbursement, and additional pay for projects north of the metro. **Work Environment** Candidates will work with a lead carpenter and perform various finish carpentry duties throughout the day. The work environment includes a mix of skilled carpentry and occasional labor tasks, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, in teams of 5 to 10 carpenters depending on the project.
